ArtifyRI and the Home Is Where the Art Is event transforms the way people experience homeownership. When homebuyer receives a piece of locally made art at closing, it’s more than a gift — it’s a story. Each piece is crafted by a local artist, reflecting the creativity, heritage, and character of the community.

When Alan St. Pierre (above), renovated his home, he knew it needed more than fresh paint - it needed a story. As a member of the Providence Art Club and lifelong Rhode Island resident, he commissioned local artist, Madeline Menkes (center, below) to create the mural below on the wall of his home (below), Main Living Mural of Providence, transforming his space into a reflection of Rhode Island’s creative spirit.
Alan is a Registered Nurse, third-generation Licensed Electrician, and General Contractor who brings a deep understanding of how homes connect people to their communities. That perspective sparked the idea for ArtifyRI and Home Is Where the Art Is events — programs designed to bring art, place, and purpose together.
